I also have serious stutter issues especially in the beginning after starting the game, also in the menus it’s recognizable. Starting missions leaves me stuttering away for the first minute or so, then it gradually gets better.
Setting the graphics to auto puts everything on ultra, with FPS in the 40s. On low or medium I sometimes reach 80.

It bugs me a bit that these VR issues aren’t even mentioned in the “still to be fixed” topics.
I am having the same stuttering issues, particularly around the debris field in the practice arena. It feels sluggish even when it's smoother but if I have a lot debris in my field of view, it often has a jarring stutter or almost seems to step back a frame and jump forward again at times. I have used the Rift-S and now also the Quest 2 but they both do the same thing. When I first launch the game, the menus stutter a bit as they load and then smooth out. the hanger looks fine but often after I've flown for a bit and come back to the menus, they are sluggish until I exit the game and restart. I only noticed it to this severity in the last 1 or so, possibly since the last patch. I have just been troubleshooting and trying different settings but nothing has worked to improve it so far. I haven't been able to actually play other than an our or two of troubleshooting a night. Very frustrating...
