Are you running the game on a disc or is this digital?
Digital-as mentioned I had uninstalled and then reinstalled as well because I was getting the ce34878-0 error too so I figured it might have come from just a bad install.
Hmm...I guess my go-to step would be to rebuild the database, then.

Interesting idea, why would that potentially solve it? I ask simply because I don't know the nature of the problem and the function of rebuilding the database.
I would rather not complicate something that isn't otherwise broken :P
