Interesting idea, why would that potentially solve it? I ask simply because I don't know the nature of the problem and the function of rebuilding the database.
I would rather not complicate something that isn't otherwise broken :P
It's not anything that will destroy your system. Rebuilding your database means it scans all the files and data you have and replaces what it can with a newer version. The link should describe it as: "Scans the drive and creates a new database of all content. This operation may take a long time depending on the type and number of data items."
So if there's a faulty piece of data causing the problem, this could fix it. I personally rebuild my database as step 1 for most of my PS4 game issues and so far I haven't noticed any side effects.

Oh, nice, I will give it a shot. Maybe it is this since I really cannot find anyone else that is having this issue :/
