Why are all the Chests already open?!!

I've played through multiple times before, but this is a first. I started playing and all the chests are already open! So, I can't open them and collect the goods. What the heck?! Is there are workaround? Or am I going to have to try and restart from the beginning again?

    did you start the game in "New Journey Plus?" That would be the only occurence of that

    @Gargamel314 bejeezus, I did. I didn't know that's what would happen with it. ugh. Do I have to go back and restart the game? I may just go through and say screw the chests lol

    Yes, you have to restart the whole game.

    New Journey+ will give you all chests opened, unlock all the light saber colors, and give you all the outfits, ponchos, BD Skins, Mantis skins, and unlock the imperial inquisitor outfit. Everything else should be fully functional though.
