Why can't I play multiplayer maps on single player in Battlefront?
I can't access the multiplayer maps in single player. I want to play against just one of my friends in all of them but I'm unable to access them. Why can't I?

You cannot play the normal multiplayer maps on single player. You are limited to the co-op mission maps that are in that section.
I gathered that much. But why is that the case, why can't I play the multiplayer maps in single player? They're all downloaded and taking up room on my computer, they should make themselves useful and let me play without having to connect online anytime I want to use them.
Because that is not how they designed the game. They made specific maps for the solo / co-op missions.
