Why no one plays DLC Battlefront?

Why no one plays DLC Battlefront?

This is like the main weak point of the all Season Pass maps of all EA games started fron BF 3.

It's so pity that everyone (or 70%+ off all players) plays just standard maps ignoring DLC maps.

Is it not offensive to the developers that their work went to hell, and their brainchild is some kind of dead? Or the main point - just to collect payment?

There are beautiful maps, new skirmishes. But for example in Battlefront (even after 80% sales most of players still playing just base game) only few persons in skirmishes for 8-10 players plays DLC. This is akward.

What do you think? Are you happy that any DLC is popular just few monthes after release and then dies?

I worry about Battlefield 1 and SW:BF 2 =(

@Kacmem  Mostly, because the DLC were owned by fewer people. Also it did not help the fact that DLC owners couldn't play with standard edition owners. With the Season Pass recent giveaway, numbers might improve a bit now. So here's for more players on the DLC's maps.

A lot of people were putt off by the lack of a SP campaign, but also the missing Galactic Conquest mode that was present in LucasArts SW: Battlefront II. Also missing: the space battles. The lack of an anti-cheat system was another thing that gave EA's Battlefront a bad rep.

SW: Battlefront 2 from EA will have the DLC's free, with cosmetics on sale, like they did in Titanfall 2. Also, it will feature an anticheat system They've learned their lesson from Battlefront 2015 and TF2, so no reasons to worry.

Battlefield 1 DLC's maps have a lot of players, plus EA introduced a few modes where standard owners are allowed on the Premium maps (Premium Trials mode allows people with a Premium Pass to bring standard owners on those maps). The final goal is to allow everyone to play on the Premium Maps, but access to weapons and gadgets will still require a Premium Pass. Premium Pass might be given at some point for free, though i don't think it will happen soon. I will also point the fact that BF1 digital edition is now available only as Battlefield1: Revolution and Battlefield 1: Standard Edition. The Revolution edition is now on sale for 40 euro and the Premium Pass is also for sale at 30 euro. Pretty decent deals, i'd say.

So...worry no more. Things are looking good.
