Cal getting stuck between billboards

Summarize your bug Cal got stuck between billboards, hovering/floating there. I could not move him.
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Follow the story until you get to the section with the four billboards, the two above are curved. Run across the first two billboards to get to the platform, then turn around so you are facing the two curved billboards. Run across them to get the item inquisition. Once item in question is run back across the two curved billboards, see if Cal gets stuck between the second curved billboard and the one beneath it.
What happens when the bug occurs? Cal got stuck between billboards, hovering/floating there. Cannot progress through game.
What do you expect to see? Being able to continue the game.
While getting stuck is a glitch, what makes me think this is a bug is I think the save files are getting overwritten.
Like, I mentioned Cal just hovers there. All the controls work, but the jump button doesn't function properly. My only choice was to quit to title screen.
When I reloaded, I was sent to just after fighting the first wave of the senator's troopers after the opening cutscene. I know I saved at least once, if not twice during the game after those events. So either the game isn't registering saves, or this glitch sends you back to basically the start of the game.
