Can not trigger fractured delusion

I cannot trigger the prerequisite interaction to spawn the fractured delusion force tear. When I went inside the protected house for the first time, there was a button prompt, but nothing happened, and after that, there are no prompts whatsoever, and the force tear hasn't spawned as well, making it impossible to proceed. I'm playing on an Xbox Series X.
