  • Hi.

    "Corrupt pak index detected" implies there is a corrupt file. I have seen on another forum for another UE4 game needed a full reinstall for it to work properly(

    Привет.

    "Обнаружен поврежденный индекс пакета" означает, что файл поврежден. Я видел на другом форуме, что для другой Игра UE4 требовалась полная переустановка, чтобы она работала должным образом(

    @Gatsby67

    Before going for a full reinstall as above, try clicking into the game in EA app, then Manage and Repair.

    Thanks.

  • Hi,

    I am experiencing the same issue. I tried repairing the game via the EA launcher but the outcome was the same.

    The game keeps crashing!

    Any other way to fix this? A friend of mine had to install a patch today, but he is playing on Steam. Where is the patch for the EA launcher? There doesn't seem to be one?

  • I haven't been able to launch the game yet due to it crashing on startup. I am not the best with computers, but I know how to at least follow directions, and yet I can't find anyone with directions on how to fix this error other than re download the game (which I have), update my driver or graphics card (which I have), or wait for updates (which feels excruciatingly slow for a game I preordered).

    The error in question is

    LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 5050] Corrupt pak index detected on pak file: ../../../SwGame/Content/Paks/pakchunk0-WindowsNoEditor.pak

    I thought it may be a corrupted file based off of the error description, but i haven't even seen the opening logo, the main menu or any loading screen let alone the game itself in order to corrupt any files.

    Has anyone else had this issue and figured out a solution yet?
