Crashing on JEDHA

For some reason like the many thousands of people suffering the same problem with the planet JEDHA when will there be a patch to come out to effectively fix this problem because
1. uninstalling and reinstalling
2. installing on an SSD
3. verifying game files
4. updating graphics drivers
5. disabling Ray Tracing
6. lowering the graphics to low as possible
none of these solutions have worked and yes i have tried nearly everything.  Is there really a solution to this or does the game just stop at JHEDA and there is no rest of the game, no finding ceres base, no progressing past the desert.

  • There are a few different locations where users have reported crashing. I have experienced at least one of them, but it did not seem to be a gamebreaking persistent issue.

Please post your computer specifications, so we can have a clearer idea what other possible issues might be causing crashes.

Also, where do you experience crashes?

The overworld portion of the map?

Inside the hangar at Cere's base with the archives?

The approach sequence to the other Hidden Path base (spoiler territory)?

What resolution is your display device? You said you've lowered the graphics, does that include the resolution (in addition to DLSS/FSR upscaling)?

Are you getting an error when it crashes?

Epic Games has reported issues with newer Intel CPUs. JayzTwoCents has reported an issue with motherboard vendors going outside of Intel's specifications resulting in unstable "factory" overclocks, particularly in combination with XMP memory overclocking.

Users have reported issues with recent NVIDIA drivers, which is typically resolved by reverting to an older NVIDIA Studio driver. It is unclear if these issues are related to the aforementioned unstable overclocks, but it seems more likely to be driver overhead in a heavily CPU bound game.

I have a AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor, 32 GB of RAM, and an RTX 3060. I have it with the default graphics configuration, except with the nvidia-specific optimization instead of the AMD one.

It crashes in Jedha every single time when I go with Merrin to pick her speeder, and there's the cut to the cinematic when they see the Stormtroopers.

I've experienced crashes in a few other places, but reloading and replaying makes it go away. But there it crashes 100% of the times.

  • I disabled Raytracing, and the game stopped crashing right away. Raytracing seems to be the problem.
