Game Bugged Stuck and cant progress

Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug I loaded into the game for the first time today on the Main objective Locate Brother Armias and i am stuck in a room with Merrin while she is stuck in an ability animation but nothing happens. There is no way out no save to revert to im just stuck and cant progress.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Im not sure
What happens when the bug occurs? I cant progress in the story or play the game
What do you expect to see? i would like to be able to finish the story if theres a way to revert back one save or something.

    @oldmingy  Have you tried fast-traveling away and back?

    If that doesn't help, please post a screenshot of the map, zoomed in and showing where Cal is; plus a screenshot of what you see in-game, i.e. Merrin stuck and no way forward.

    @oldmingy I actually encountered the exact same problem but then in a fit of button spamming I dashed through the green laser gate and was able to proceed. I'm guessing in the cutscene right before the thing Merrin gives you let's you dash through those doors.
