Summarize your bug Can happen at random times but always this bug and crash will happen during cinemtaics. How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I am currently unable to get passed the cinematic where cal first fllies the Mantis to escape, as soon as you go through the tunnel and as soon as it switches to Bode's face it crashes with this error.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game stutters adn then crashes to the main desktop, givein the URE4 crash report
What do you expect to see? I find it complety mind boggling this bug was not caught before release and that EA has once again released another broken game, I expect cinematics to not be taxing on a PC or any kind.
This bug happens are every single cinemaic, after 8 attempts I was finally able to get passed the opening cinematic and now once again I am at this second cinematic and stuck in this same crashing to dekstop loop. It is ridiculous. I am using a NVMe drive with 3200MBps read and 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4L RAM. I have done extensixe memtest86 tests on my RAM and no errors, I have performed sfc /scannow on my Windows 11 no errors, I have done bad sector and error checking scans on my SSD no issues. I have performed DDU on my NVIDA GTX 1660Ti and installed the latest driver. My laptop stays at about 89 degrees celcius on high performance. I have set the game to WIndowed fullscreen and Fullscreen at 1080p with ray tracking off and set the graphics to low preset and tried disabling FSR 2 and having it on and still the same error. My specs are i5-9300H - GTX 1660Ti - 16GB HyperX DDR4L 2666Mhz - 1TB ADATA SX8200PNP 3200MBps DRAM SSD - 60Hz 1080p monitor. In game FPS is fine and stable at 50-60FPS with vSync on. This error happens all the time and is clearly poor programming and is an unreal engine 4 related crash.
So this is happening on almost every major cut scene in the game at the moment. There are several posts with it happening on many other scenes and im locked out of the cut scene after fighting bode. Seems to be a major issue.
