Sorry to hear that!
The only things I did not mention or made explicit are:
- I run the game with vsync activated ( I can't stand screen tearing )
- I set my monitors refresh rate to 100hz and limited the FPS to 50 in the AMD driver
- I am making sure, the game does not run with Administration rights
If this doesn't change anythign for you, I might just have been lucky with my aproach
Admin rights on or off doesn't seem to change anything.
Vsync doesn't seem to change anything.
I've tried changing my monitor's resolution (default is 1440p and I've tried 1080 and 720) to no avail.
I have yet to try changing my monitor's refresh rate outside of the game's menues because I didn't think it mattered and I thought that the game's settings would work. But if the game is forcing me to manually reduce my computer's refresh rate by half or a quarter just to play it without crashing, then that's simply terrible design. Especially from EA for a triple-A game.
Gonna be honest, I'm probably not going to test that until there were other things I can test as it would require redownloading the 130Gb game which I honestly don't want wait 2 hours for. Especially given the unlikelihood of it working.

Allright, there is more news:
I was able to complete about 40-50% of the Game. But I was not able to play "Holo Tactics" without the game craching. But well, that is optinal.
Then on the 3rd planet there is another main plot cutscene and I had the same issue as with landing on Koboh: The cutscene starts and after 1 second the game crashes.
So I again tried a lot of different fixes without any luck.
But long story short there is one thing that worked in the end:
- I uninstalled all mods I had used, I restored the default settings of the game (no more windows 7 compatibilty mode etc.)
- Then I just put the "SWJS - Fixes and Improvements" Mod ( https://www.nexusmods.com/starwarsjedisurvivor/mods/247 ) into the ...\Jedi Survivor\SwGame\Content\Paks folder
This not only fixed the crash, I also have faster loading times, no stutter anymore and the FPS increased by about 10% !
You should try this.

Again, that's exactly what I've tried before. If it works for you, great! But it doesn't work for me and hasn't for months. I still can't get past the initial Koboh cutscene. ☹️

That did not work. Again.
This is now the third time I've tried that exact "fix" so far and not once has it worked. Once again, my issue is that I can't even get to the 1st planet of Koboh, let alone anywhere else in the game, because of the crash during the cutscene when landing on Koboh for the first time.
Honestly, that mod may work for other crashes in the game, but for me it does absolutely nothing. At least, as far as I can tell.

I am having the exact same issue, nothing is helping. I downloaded like 4 optimisation mods and the game still struggles to load. I finished the game around a few weeks after launch, I loved it so much I wanted to play it again but I can't get past the same scene. The first time I played through I had few issues, I didn't have all the same issue others were having, at least it wasn't bothering me. But now coming back the game is WORSE than it was before, while I was getting around 50fps before, I now get massive lag spikes dropping to around 5fps, and the game crashes more than ever before. (my first play It crashed on me only 4 times, all using the same mechanic)
Also should note I am scared to uninstall the game, as last time I did, it somehow deleted my SSD I store all my games on and took hours to get back.

Amazingly this worked for me, I was stuck in the 2nd planet crashing every now and then (every 10 or 20 minutes). Then I read your comment and follow the instructions and I was able to play for almost 2 hours (never achieved that time in a row bc of crashes). Funny fact I do have a rx 6800 xt too. To sum up, so far thx very much bro.

What worked for you? While we don't have the same issue, I have no solutions that have worked for me on this thread, so do please do share since we have the same GPU.
