Thanks for that. I updated the driver, but what did the trick was to increase RAM from 16 to 32. Game had no lagging, I was able to make ray tracing work, and everything went well till the first fight with Daran Gera at the Forest Array. Here, the game repeatedly crashed at the middle of the cutscene after the fight (and didn't save, natch). Any ideas why this happens and how to remedy it?

Two things immediately come to mind:
1) make sure your memory is configured to the correct speed for your CPU in BIOS
2) disable ray tracing in the game
