How do I change which direction I'm facing when swinging?

On PC - How do I change which direction I'm facing when swinging? When I'm hanging from a pole it seems I can only swing and jump forward. Can I rotate while hanging and go back? How do I do that?

    To my knowledge there is no way to rotate while you are on the pole. Ziplines, ropes and balloons, yes. Poles, no.
