Hunter Shirt Materials locked, but crate is open

Summarize your bug I'm on PS5, and was trying to get the hunter shirt material (located in Forrest Array on Kobah) - I must have opened that crate prior to unlocking the actual hunter shirt. I have the hunter shirt now, but materials are locked. When I go to the crate in Forrest Array that should have hunter shirt material, it's already opened. And hunter shirt materials are still locked for me.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I suspect it was because I opened the hunter shirt materials crate before I opened the actual hunter shirt crate. Maybe since when I opened the materials crate first, the game didn't have a shirt to apply the materials to? and now that the crate is already opened, I can't re-open it to get the hunter shirt materials. I'm not certain that's the cause, but seems like thats a possible reason.
What happens when the bug occurs? I've tried resetting my game, PS5, etc. Each time I go back to the forrest array crate that should have hunter shirt materials, it's opened. And in customization, the materials continue to be locked for the hunter shirt.
What do you expect to see? Materials to be available for the hunter shirt. Since the crate in forrest array is open (that is supposed to have hunter shirt materials), I should have hunter shirt materials available to me.

(RESOLVED) - Turns out if you first get the chest that is supposed to have the materials, it'll give you the shirt. Then the other chest that is supposed to have the shirt will give you the materials after that. So the clothing items and corresponding materials work in a pair. Whichever one you open first gives you the clothing item, and the chest you open second will give you the materials.
