I didn’t understand the fix either - if you read the Reddit post you’ll see my shock at how unrelated the fix seems to the problem.
The OP explained that you may have a beacon set at the coordinates of 2,147,483,648 (which is causing unconnected problems) and that by removing this broken beacon and then going to the galaxy map - you can resolve the issue
This worked for me being unable to force pull the orbs in the Chamber of Duality
