I'm having this issue in Nov. 2024. This issue has seemed to plague gamers for quite awhile now. Wondering if there is a fix timeline. I've been loving the game; this bug disallows me from continuing altogether.

I'm personally having the issue on PS5; it seems the majority of submissions operate on the same platform. I want to continue playing this game, quite frankly this bug disallows me from doing so.

Y'all have created a wonderful product, but this bug has been frustrating! I hope you can understand and resolve ASAP. If I can provide any additional info via screenshot or video submission, please let me know.

To recap the issue, following the acquisition of the dash ability, the 'tutorial' to dash over a chasm is followed by a metal door that provokes the user to use the force to release the clasp on this door. The door, if the user deceases, will not open a second time and the prompt to use the force disappears, leaving the operator in a 'soft-lock'. Restarting the game, the console, deleting and reinstalling the game doesn't work. This area cannot be left without using the force on the door, there are no other exits. I currently have completed 20 hours, (39%) and do not wish to restart the game just to find the same issue.

If you could update users as to a timeline of issue resolution, or provide an escape out of this issue, that would be greatly appreciated. As aforementioned, I love this game. It is frustrating that the game can no longer be played from my current standpoint, until the resolution of said issue.
