- SpoilerSPOILERS: It looks like this theory was partially true. Bode mentions that the republic sent him on an intelligence mission and he simply slipped away after that. It's possible that this may have been that mission.
I find that unlikely because one of the entries also said the padawan succumbed to his wounds a short time after his master died.
