Jedha Scavenger Droids

Ok so I got 3 scrolls to get from Jedha. 2 are fron droids. They are impossible to sneak up on. Especially the Whistling Drop one. 

Every time I jump into the tunnel he digs and immediately disappears before I can even react. I try using Pistol but there's no targeting in this game so my shots go wide. 

I cannot sprint due to the wind. So how do I get it?

    @AV-547  For me, the droid never dug until it had run to the other end of the tunnel.  But regardless, do any of the enemies in the area carry grenades?  I can't remember, but if so, you could try to grab one and lob it at the droid from the other side of the gap.  Hopefully the wind wouldn't push it back in your face.

    I do know that dashing works some of the time because I looked up videos after you replied to me.  Maybe it's a question of how close you get when you first cross the gap.

    @AV-547  There is a targeting mechanism in the game; check the list of keybindings if you're not sure what key or button to use.  But I've had trouble locking onto these droids too.

    In this particular case, I jumped and immediately dashed, almost at the same time, trying to catch up with it.  I had to try a few times to get the hang of it, and then I somehow missed killing the thing anyway.  The next time I tried (quit to main menu, reload from med point), I got lucky and a blaster round from one of the enemies in that area caught the droid before I had a chance.  But I do think that dashing is the way to go.

    Yeah I jump dash to get in there due to the wind. But as soon as I land it sees me and just digs.

    I also hit the slow down time button so I think that gets it to dig right away. I'll see if I can use your method with the grenade.

    The grenade actually worked. Took me a few tries because I was killing them before they could throw the grenades. 

    So I went and killed everything except 1 guy, waited for him to throw it, grabbed it with the force and threw it into the tunnel. 

    When I jumped into it the droid was dead.
