Jedi Survivor Corrupted Save and Changing Save Location
I've been playing Jedi Survivor for about 71 hours and had a single game in which I had progresses quite far. Recently, I've been having some issues with game lag and the game failing to save. Originally, I chalked it up to low memory space on my computer (my C drive is fairly full, so I store all my games on a separate D drive.) Originally, when the game was having trouble saving, I noticed that my C drive was full - even though the game is saved on my D drive - and I fixed the problem by closing the game and reopening it.
However, this last time I tried the fix and attempted to open the game, it said my save file was corrupted and that there were no backups. I am very sad to have lost so much progress after 70 hours of play, and am disheartened to have to start over again.
To avoid the issue in the future, I want to make sure that the game is fully saving to my D drive and is not filling my C drive (and then causing it to run out of space and corrupt). I found my saves stored on the C drive (was not able to save the corrupted save), and would like to reroute the game to put the saves on my D drive instead. Is there a way to change which drive the game is saving to and working off of?
Also, is there a way to manually save of make copies of my game as I progress? Having an automated saving system with no option to make backups seemed highly fallible and is one of the reasons I was not able to recover any of my progress.
