Jedi Survivor not correctly mapping Xbox controller
As the title states, I'm on PC using Steam. Whether I use my wireless dongle, or a usb cable the button mappings do not work correctly. I have disconnected everything but my keyboard, mouse, and controller but the problem persists. I've also disabled steam input, but no joy. When I use my controller in Jedi: Fallen order it works without any issues which suggests that this is only an issue with Jedi: Survivor.
There are numerous topics with this issue but none of the suggestions have fixed my issue. I would reach out to EA directly but they don't have a way to do that.
After posting this I finally came across a master thread relating to this issue, turns out it has something to do with the 'EA app'
Thankfully someone has created a fix that allows users to revert back to the Origin app. The Origin app does not function, however I am able to use my xbox controller without any issues so....problem solved?

Uninstall the EA app, follow the instructions on github, and everything is good to go.
If someone from EA is actually paying attention to this, fix your app or you'll be forcing users to use hacks like this in order to get around obvious issues. As I originally stated there are no issues using a Xbox controller with Jedi: Fallen Order, the mapping issue only occurs in Jedi: Survivor.
