Summarize your bug I have rebound my controls to behave more like a SoulsBourne game with light attack on RB and heavy attack on RT. This has left focus to be on LT. Any time I need to use "Focus" to progress the story, I have to reset keybinds to default. The two instances this has occurred are when you tame the winged creature so you can glide, and when you have to tame the bipedal creature (nekko) to use as a horse. Once I reset controls, I can use RB to tame, but I then have to remind the controls that I have customized. My customized controls are as follows: RB: light attack RT: Force(heavy) attack LT: Focus X: Force Push Y: Force Pull I am using a Xbox Elite Series 2 controller with a PC. Focus works in combat just fine, just not in the story elements.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Rebind Focus. You won't be able to progress story elements using focus.
What happens when the bug occurs? I have to reset controls to default and then rebind custom controls.
What do you expect to see? Custom controls working properly.

This issue is shared with the PS5 platform version.
This isn't just with focus, but also blaster fire for the blaster form.
In that form when I rebind 'special attack' to R2 it will not fire the blaster, instead my push button (Triangle) will fire the gun *and* force push at the same time.
Haven't made it that far in the game yet, good to know!
This bug persists to when you first tame the Spammel, consistent with the previous encounters with the bug.
