REVIEW BOMB is just the start. I've logged all these complaints and their response 3 weeks ago and now their silence. It is time to start talking Criminal negligence and class action lawsuits. Please keep an eye on your emails linked to your accounts here while me and my team begin to amass individual accounts of what transpired here. This is just one of two official sites they are neglecting but we're amassing testimony from 5 different sites currently.
Again WATCH YOUR PERSONAL EMAIL especially for an email from Herro, Lamont and Johnson.
- Xellius132 years agoSeasoned Traveler@AbC1902a4369139 Count me in if needed. Those EA scammers been asking for this for years, and not just with this trash game. It’s like being served a raw piece of meat in restaurant and be expected to pay full price for it. Don’t want a single cent - just to see those gipsies get slapped in their greedy face. Also neither I or my friends will ever touch anything with EA logo on it even if it’s going to be a damn game of the century.
- @AbC1902a4369139 Lmao…..legal action? Hell, even the review bombing is ridiculous. * happens man. It’s not like you can’t play the game and finish it. They’ve already acknowledged this complaint and have stated they’re working on it. Some of you guys really need to chill.
Seriously ... people have no chill.
- @Liyet Right? I’d understand if it was a game breaking bug and the game was unplayable or not able to be finished. But this bug is only holding us from getting trophies. It sucks, but it’s not that big of a deal.
I agree. Games like Skyrim were well-received and praised to this day and actually had long lasting game-breaking bugs that necessitated entering commands to manually advance the games to the next stage on PC and if on a console just out of luck. I imagine this bug will be fixed soon and haven’t really had issues with the game otherwise. It’s a massive game that they clearly put a lot of thought and work into, and I have to believe that care and hard work isn’t going to stop on their part just because the game was released. I think they should be proud of the game they made, and I’m grateful we have a forum here to communicate with them how it can be fixed when problems like this arise.

You know, you raise a good point. I've never thought of it like that. These companies are legitimately scamming people and getting away with it! How nobody is being arrested/fined/etc is beyond me. I submitted a refund request today. We'll see how long it even takes EA support for a simple response. It's already been over 8hrs lol This company is just complete trash. All of their Star Wars games have been bug ridden amongst other issues. Don't even get me started on their deal with the NFL to strictly produce football games. Madden is also trash. Everything they get their grimy greedy hands in is trash. Trash trash trash!! 🤣🤣 What a joke. Bunch of fraudulent scammers.
- @goorinjap How were you scammed?
- goorinjap2 years agoSeasoned Rookie@risebluesun Its essentially as though the publishers/developers release a brand new product, show it off as though everything is running smoothly through advertising, often times making no comment regarding any bugs upon release hoping to keep things quiet while they rake in as much cash as possible. AND THEN often after many weeks of silence finally acknowledge "sorry guys, but there are in fact bugs we're working on if you haven't noticed already." Lol It's a joke. I'm tired of it. Time and time again companies release games in an unfinished state. If this isn't scamming I don't know what is. They scam you by advertising one thing and then delivering another. I think everyone here has a right to be irritated. The current state of the gaming industry is totally unacceptable. Only the best developers/publishers out there are wise enough to wait and release a game when it's absolutely ready. For example; Rockstar Games, Naughty Dog, From Software, Santa Monica Studios, etc. Many of these companies release their games in a MUCH more acceptable state. Jedi Survivor is still full of bugs a month later. Like bugs that were normal 10 years ago. I often feel bad for the developers. It's typically the publishers who push them to release a game unfinished due to deadlines. Most likely Respawn is not to blame here. Anyway, think or feel how you want regarding all of this and I suggest everyone else do the same.

Increíble leer este tipo de comentarios, por eso vemos mas a menudo juegos sin terminar, por gente que no exige y se conforma.
@risebluesunIt's people like you that are the reason why these multi billion dollar companies get away with this *. I paid 70 pounds for a game that dosent work. I don't care if I I can finish the main story. If I can't finish the major side content that was part of the game it is broken. Stop sucking eas *.
@superbrickieno1Exactly. We paid $70 for the whole package, not 90% of it. The "Oh they'll fix it later" mentality is why we get broken releases like this one. Just look at the state its in right now, this bug has been reported for over 4 WEEKS now and we still haven't gotten a fix.
- @SuperBola90 There’s a difference between an unfinished game and a bug.
- @superbrickieno1 And it’s people like you that should maybe wait to see what happens with a game instead of buying it on release day. My point is that it’s not that serious. Yeah, it sucks, and it sucks even more that this kind of thing has become more and more common, but my experience with the game was great aside from this one broken side quest, and I’m not going to say this one issue I’ve had deserves legal action when I know that’s ridiculous. Go outside, or play something else until the issue that they have acknowledged and said they’re working on gets fixed.
- @risebluesun fine, then the performance issues aren't real and the game is very well optimized.
Está claro que les hizo falta tiempo para terminar el juego en condiciones que se esperan de un "AAA", debemos de dejar de lamerle las bolas a estas grandes compañías que rara vez se preocupan por estas cosas. @risebluesun Why are you on here white knighting for EA
- goorinjap2 years agoSeasoned Rookie
Haha no kidding. My thoughts exactly. It's been over 24 hours since I submitted a request for a refund. Still no response. This company is a joke.
@risebluesun You see, not many people expect a game to be 100% perfect when it comes out. Of course there's going to be patches for performance and graphical issues and things that cause crashes (Which by the way, THE GAME STILL CRASHES). HOWEVER, this game has been out for a little over a month. There has been 5 patches that were pushed out. This issue was known since AT LEAST May 1st. That's THREE DAYS after release, and it's still not fixed. It's not an issue for the performance team. It's not an issue with the graphical team. It's an issue for the quest team. An issue where the game fails to flag your file saying "You've done X thing, proceed to go to Y and talk to Z to continue"
And in my case, this happened after I took down the first bounty hunter and met Caij for the first time, where I'm supposed to talk to her to learn about bounty hunting to begin with. Others have gotten farther and then it breaks. So I have just finished playing through NG+ in hope of a change but no. After I got to the part of Nova Garren, I went through all soawn locations of the bounty hunters but every time i just found a puck on the ground and I have only fought the first which is obligatory. I was able to buy everything but one thing in the Caij shop but she still sits there not talking. It says i have done 17 out of 16 bounties. I hope a patch comes out someday but I am leaving this stupid game. Thanks EA and Respawn for ruining this otherwise good Star Wars experience! I haven’t felt so much frustration with a game because I cannot get the 100% even though being so close. No pleasure and no good memories will be left with this game because of you!
- @risebluesun If you don't see it as a big deal, then why are you here? I personally don't think legal action is necessary either, but people are allowed to feel upset or angry, wouldn't you say? They spent 70$/£ on this and it wasn't a great launch at all. I think we're allowed to vent, especially when there was silence for a good month lmao
- @monsieurdorito Agreed. This guy is a joker 😂
- @Gilgamax96 I’m here because like everyone else I’m also experiencing the same issue, and I check every now and then to see if it’s been resolved. I’ve never said people shouldn’t vent or be allowed to vent about anything. I agree that this bug sucks, and it’s ridiculous that we still deal with such quality in games, but some of these reactions to all of it are also very ridiculous.
Agreed. I’ve played a majority of the game without key components that I’ve now learned are simply broken and it seems like we’re all just being ignored. I wasted good money on the deluxe edition.
Disagreed on the 'ridiculous comments.' People should go nuts until the fix. I've personally shelved it out of frustration but the things I've read here are mostly very reasonable. Even those who went as far as to mention legal possibilities are justified. When you buy a product, and then your dev breaks it and makes you sit with that for 3-5 weeks, that leads to outcomes, especially mentally, commonly referred to as 'damages.' People have started action for less and won.
To be honest, after the last month of 'one sentence per 2 weeks of comments' communication..... while continuing to actively advertise heavily, I hope someone does actually go that far. Halt the sales. Even Cyberpunk did that on consoles. Saying that any of these comments are ridiculous is enabling, and pretty much implies that many people are just accustomed to the gaming dev version of Stockholm Syndrome.
