Got lucky and game was running fine for me, looking fantastic too. Got to a point after killing the mine rancor, and hit the meditate to save before talking to the NPC - game crashed at that point, and now every time I load in it crashes instantly.
Is there some way to load an older good save, or is there genuinely just the one and you're screwed if it breaks?
..I saw some people with the 'unexpected error' popup that was giving them the option of loading an older save, so evidentially there's one in the files even if we're not given easy access to it.

Check this location for save files and try to delete some last of them (copy it all to another location before do it)
%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Respawn\JediSurvivor\
