I've tried with shortcuts, without, on each with, on all keys at once. Nothing happens.

I am having the exact same issue. This is the second accessibility feature that doesn't work for me. The other is Force pull toggle. It's aggravating when you're disabled and you need these features to play the game, and they were promised at purchase. It's been two months. Please fix your game, EA.

Hey folks, I'm having trouble activating slow mode. I've turned it on in the settings, set it to turn on automatically when combat starts, bound it to a shortcut to activate manually, and nothing seems to work. There's no discernible change in the game speed and no visual cue that it turns on or off. I want it specifically for a few jumping puzzles and I cannot get it to work. I'm playing on PC. If you are able to get it to work, can you walk me through exactly what you did and what happens? No one else seems to have encountered this problem so I may just be missing something stupid. “Force slow” and “slow mode” are two very different things. Slow mode is an accessibility option in the settings that is supposed to slow down certain parts of the game (like fights) to make it easier for those of us with disabilities to play the game. Force slow is a force power that is supposed to slow down a fight until your first (or second) hit during a fight, at which point the game returns to normal speed.If you are having issues with force slow you might want to submit a bug report 😊

Slow mo mode doesn't work on pc.

I play without a controller, just the keyboard.

At a point I come in this situation, the computer tells me to press 4.
Every 4 I toggle, nothing works, regular 4, F4, keypad 4,...
I tried toggling slowmo mode on or off, tried binding it to another key without luck.

Nothing works.
The game keeps hanging here. I can't even press escape to go into the menu

When I go to my abilities, slow mode isnt there yet, So I can't bind a key.

I think slow mode is unlocked afer that sequence where I need to hit 4.
But I cant edit my keys as it keeps hanging at that moment.

I also dont have a controller in my house

Well, darn. For me, I had to attach a controller to correct the issue. However, I was able to initially use it, when it came up in the game at the point you are referring to.

You might want to see if there is keyboard/mouse software installed that is getting in the way. Also, you can try disabling all overlays (e.g. EA app, GeForce, etc.)

FYI - As that post indicates, it appears you're having issues with Force Slow, not Slow Mode - two different things.

The sad thing is seeing this had been adressed from lasted year and some people like me are still having the issue

Found the solution,

When looking up the keybindings under force I found setting that were unlocked.

But then I found a nummer 4 bound to yet a unlocked force.
Set it to another key to my liking and now I could hit the key and go on
