Slow mode doesn't work

Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:Xbox Series S
Summarize your bug I cannot activate Slow mode in the accessibility options. Even if I switch it on, nothing happens. I binded a key to it, but still not working. No matter what I do, the game doesn't go slow motion. The automatic slow motion mode doesn't work either. Please help!
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Turning on Slow mode in the Accessibility menu and trying to use it.
What happens when the bug occurs? Slow mode doesn't slow down the game.
What do you expect to see? Slower gameplay. Because of my disability, I cannot do certain segments of the game without this mode.

Same for me. I also tried adding it to the shortcut menu. I can press the menu button and it pops up as a shortcut choice but doesn’t work. Tried going back to main menu and closing and restarting the game  but nope. I’m sure it will be patched eventually but by then I’ll prob have moved on to another game lol.

“Force slow” and “slow mode” are two very different things. Slow mode is an accessibility option in the settings that is supposed to slow down certain parts of the game (like fights) to make it easier for those of us with disabilities to play the game. Force slow is a force power that is supposed to slow down a fight until your first (or second) hit during a fight, at which point the game returns to normal speed.

If you are having issues with force slow you might want to submit a bug report 😊

I am having the exact same issue. This is the second accessibility feature that doesn't work for me. The other is Force pull toggle. It's aggravating when you're disabled and you need these features to play the game, and they were promised at purchase. It's been two months. Please fix your game, EA.

I'm having the exact same issue on PS5. My friend showed me what it looks like on his PS5, and it definitely doesn't happen in my game. I've tried with shortcuts, without, on each with, on all keys at once. Nothing happens.

Hey folks, I'm having trouble activating slow mode. I've turned it on in the settings, set it to turn on automatically when combat starts, bound it to a shortcut to activate manually, and nothing seems to work. There's no discernible change in the game speed and no visual cue that it turns on or off. I want it specifically for a few jumping puzzles and I cannot get it to work. I'm playing on PC. If you are able to get it to work, can you walk me through exactly what you did and what happens? No one else seems to have encountered this problem so I may just be missing something stupid. Thanks for your help

Summarize your bug Slow motion stops working after cutscene
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Initiate a battle with the 9th Sister with slow motion enabled / slow motion in combat enabled. After the first cutscene, it will return to default motion speed of 100%
What happens when the bug occurs? Slow motion cannot be enabled after a cutscene.
What do you expect to see? Slow motion to continue working

Slow motion will not work in combat after a cutscene. So in a multipart battle (such as the 9th Sister), slow motion will work only in the first sequence. In the 2nd or 3rd, it will be at 100% speed with no way to affect the speed setting until Cal respawns.
