Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:Steam-PC
Summarize your bug Too many computers error and now I can’t play my game. I’m trying to troubleshoot between my Steam deck and PC. The game is just an utter mess.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try logging in wi the my account.
What happens when the bug occurs? Pop up appears saying too many computers.
What do you expect to see? I expect to play my game.

This has been happening frequently.

  • Hi @wehodiscostick,

This is not a bug, but working as intended.

Since you're saying that you're trying to troubleshoot something between your Steam Deck (the game is not officially supported for Steam Deck) and PC, the system most likely detects a lot of different account sign-ins from different devices within an x period of time and goes into lockdown mode.

Unfortunately, there's nothing you or we can do about this, as this is an automated system.

The only solution would be to leave your account and the game alone for at least 24h before trying to sign in again. If you try to sign in again within that 24h, the timer resets itself and the cycle begins again.

  • I have the same problem but with EA app on PC and Star Wars Jedi survivor. I cannot play on different PC, laptop because on launch I get an error , to many computer's have accessed this game. But I have only to PC's. One desktop one Laptop and * this EA. Even Steam or other platforms does not block you from playing your own game on different PC's.

  • how can this be what we want?

I'm stuck not being able to play my game on my pc because my laptop could not run it.

this is not good customer service or the way anybody has ever played video games since consoles and cartridges.

  • I had the same problem, but it already happened after my third try to launch the game, wich was undertaken via the EA app (the two previous tries where via desktop). The last time I played the game was 8 hours before.

So are you telling me EA that it takes only 2 (failed) tries to launch the game for this "intended" feature to spring into action and block any further attempt ?

    All the best.

  • Yeah I'm refunding this. This is atrocious. 24 hours I can't play because the game failed to launch. It's a $70 game you should be able to play it on any PC you own.

Hi I fear I have gotten myself in a lockout loop.  Is there anywhere I can view the hours I must wait until I can play again?

Also how many computers is too many for my an account?  I have multiple gaming PCs and like to try on laptop.

  • This happend to me too and I'm locked out even though I've never even played the game and have only attempted to download it on a single PC.

@EA_Leeuw Do you know why sales in China are so low? We need VPN when importing Steam, and you don't want us to use VPN? Stupid thing, no wonder it's going bankrupt
  • but can you showing the log the account have so may login ?

my account has never been login at another devices yes it say too many...this is something wrong with the ea server
