I still have not even started this game on PC due to the inability to properly compile shaders. I'm not going to just accept shader compilation and traversal stutters as a part of the experience. Supposedly this is a very good game and it's a shame that so many people aren't going to experience it. Even the most patient of us only give the game a few months to be fixed before forgetting about it and moving on.
I had no idea there were still actually bugs to be fixed. That's ridiculous.
Please fix the PC performance. You could've easily plugged in dlss which would've solved the cpu bottleneck issue for many people. And fix ray tracing performance! I do not agree with the original poster in regard to the importance of those features. As a PC player, with hardware that can handle such subtle RT features with barely any performance loss, I believe we should be able to play this game on max settings without having to experience some made up thing called "hitching in ray tracing mode"

Unfortunately the problem is we bought this game on day one and it needed at least 3 - 6 extra months to make it polished and 60 FPS good resolution on consoles and to a certain aspect on pc. I think the problem is they rushed the game out rather than delaying it as Zelda was coming out in may & final fantasy in June to maximise sales and now we are paying for that with its performance and bugs. Hopefully patch 6 makes a lot more playable at a decent quality and I will then start it again. Until then I will carry on enjoying Zelda, which besides a few minor performance issues, I am willing to accept with a game of this magnitude and on old hardware is far more polished and fun than survivor in its current state
