Blank Server List

Reaching my wits end with this. Game launches after login then shows a blank shard list. Occasionally gets the "unable to retrieve server list" error.

I've run through everything I've searched for, with the last official steps updated in 2023.

System is Windows 11 running Defender. Game was originally installed on secondary drive.

List of troubleshooting steps completed:

*Ensured compatibility mode is disabled on launcher.exe and swtor.exe

*Allowed both launcher and game through Windows Firewall

*Added file, process and folder exclusions to Defender Antivirus and IPS

*Enabled "Run as Administrator" for swtor.exe

*Performed fresh reinstall after removing all traces of the program from drives and registry

*Performed fresh reinstall on C: drive in case there were permissions issues on secondary drive

*Disabled Riot Vanguard software in case that was causing issues

*Verified there were no network blocks upstream through router

*Unable to ping gamepad.swtor.com (possibly old server data)

Swtor logs always show the same error:

ERROR Invalid response received from platform for getShardList request. Status code: 0 [Platform.dozerLib.dozer.ClientServices](clientservices.cpp:bwa::platform::ClientServices::receivedShardList:191)

Is there a diagnostic app you can run on the new version? 

Anything else I can try before I give up and cancel my subscription and lose 2 years of progress?

  • Update: Installed game on a new laptop with a fresh install of Windows 11.

    Game launches normally and able to select server and play the game.

    Is there a troubleshooter or debug panel so I can see where the break is on the original PC?
