SWTOR has a bad EA account linked to my account
I had my account under an older email, I have never had an EA account associated with that email. It says EA Account Email: ******@disabled.ea.com. I would like to switch the EA account to this one that i have had made. It is under a new email but the email associated with my swtor account never had an EA account. It wont allow me to purchase or redeem codes at the moment. Thanks for the helpAge verification and OLD EA account problem
My SWTOR account is linked to an old EA Account that I no longer have access to. The SWTOR account page shows the linked EA Account as *****@bol.com.br and the Link Status as “Good”. I currently have access to my SWTOR account (****@***.tec.br), but I no longer have access to the linked EA email address. I am also unable to complete the Brazil Age Verification because the verification code is not being delivered. I need help recovering/accessing the EA Account currently linked to my SWTOR account and completing the Age Verification.
Unable to Log In
Hey guys, Recently reinstalled SWTOR to play again, but the launcher keeps giving me the "Display Name, Password, or Security Key is incorrect" error. The strange thing is that these exact same credentials work completely fine when I log into swtor.com on my browser. I've already tried changing my password and it made no difference. Here's what I've already tried: I don't have a Security Key attached to the account (my iPhone won't let me set one up for some reason), so I've just been leaving that box blank. Reinstalled the game, didn't fix it. Tried unlinking my Steam account to see if that would reset things, and now it won't let me link it back up at all. Steam support told me to reach out here, and emailing direct support hasn't gotten me anywhere yet. Since my login clearly works on the main website, I'm assuming something is stuck on the account side between EA/SWTOR and the launcher. Any help getting this sorted out so I can actually log in and re-link Steam would be awesome. Thanks!Old account recovery
I have my original account from beta and when the game released, up until 2014 connected to an email showing one username, for some reason in 2015 the username attached to that email changed and i can no longer log onto the older account username, the new one is obviously just a fresh account with nothing on it, can i recover that old account?Somehow got into Ashara romance?
Hey guys, I never ever flirted with Ashara and just put her on influence lvl 50 and be nice to her but NO flirt. Now I just finished all the open conversations, she started kissing me, went into private with me and wanted to marry me? OwO I am gay and I dont want her lol. I could just tell her we can not do it now and the conversation ended but am I locked in her romance now or am I still able to marry Theron when I reach the expensions? Ive played SWTOR since 2023, and ive grinded on one account and for some reason created a second one when i was little (both under the same email), since yesterday I havent been able to sign into my main SWTOR account, as it is saying its sending a new password to my email, but for some reason it wont send, i tried the same thing for my other account and it worked perfectly fine, can someone please help me?Unable to access account
Hello, I used to play this game via my steam account. I no longer remember my display name or password as it was years ago that I played. The email I signed up with was an old email which since has been sold on the dark web & then deleted (so I can't receive help emails for instance e.g forgot display name). I also had a 2fa app on an old phone which is long gone. I tried to call the number for the UK Helpline but with VOXI it doesn't allow me to call, there are no emails for support and no other ways at all which is really really frustrating. Is there no way I can get this resolved without jumping through seemingly impossible or never ending loops?
Unable to Log In
I have been trying to log into my account for a month now and every time I get this message ''The Display Name, Password, or Security Key you have entered is incorrect.'' I know I'm using the right log in info because i can log into the SWTOR website just fine using the same display name and password, which I already tried resetting twice. I never had a Security Key so that can't be it either. It simply doesn't let me log into the launcher.
Login failed error on website - Returning player
Hello everyone, I am a player from Brazil and I don't speak English, so I am using a translator to write this post. I played SWTOR a long time ago (before the recent age verification rules in Brazil) and now I want to return to the game. I was able to recover my Display Name and successfully reset my password. However, whenever I try to log in on the SWTOR website, I get a generic error: "Login failed. Please try again." I haven't even tried logging into the game yet; I'm completely stuck on the website. Another issue is that my account has a Security Key (Two-Factor Authentication) linked to an old phone that I no longer have access to. I was trying to log into the website specifically to remove or change this Security Key, but the site won't let me past the initial login error. The standard instructions say I need to call support, but I cannot make international calls due to the high costs from my country and the language barrier (I only speak Portuguese). Is there any way to fix this website login error and remove my old Security Key without having to call? Could this be related to my EA account link or the age verification system? I’ve been extremely frustrated and disappointed since last Thursday, when the new age verification brazilian law was implemented in SWTOR. From that moment on, I have been unable to access the game — not because I’m underage (I’m 31 years old), but because the verification process appears to be failing for older accounts like mine. My account is very old and was originally linked to an EA/EA Games account that no longer exists, and now the system simply doesn’t verify my age or allow me to proceed. As a result, I was instructed to contact support by email, but the only response I received was that this can only be resolved by telephone support. The problem is: I’m Brazilian, I don’t speak English, and I have no practical way to call international phone numbers — both because of the language barrier and because I cannot afford the cost of this type of call. Being forced into phone support in another language, for an issue caused by your account verification system, feels completely unfair. What makes this even worse is that I recently returned to the game and paid for a subscription. Now I’m locked out of a service I’m actively paying for, and I’m being bounced from one channel to another with delays and no real solution. This is extremely disrespectful to the customer and a very poor experience. I’m asking for a reasonable resolution through an accessible support channel (email or chat), including a way to complete age verification despite the legacy account issue. If that is not possible, then I would like compensation for the lost subscription time and/or a refund for the period I cannot access the game. Please escalate this issue and provide a solution that does not require an international phone call in English.
Cannot log into SWTOR account
I have played this game on and off since 2012, and have recently decided to give it another play. However, I used to use the old SWTOR Authenticator app which does not work now. And there seems to be no way to remove the authenticator without calling EA, which doesn't really work for me in Australia. I feel I shouldn't be forced to make an expensive phone call to another country just to play a game that I have had since 2012. Hello, I'm posting here because I cannot contact SWTOR Support until Monday, and I wanted to report this issue as soon as I discovered it. Today I received several purchase confirmation emails for Cartel Coin purchases that I did not make. After logging into my SWTOR account, I found that: - My account had payment methods that do not belong to me. - Multiple unauthorized Cartel Coin purchases were made. - Those Cartel Coins were immediately spent on in-game items. - I have never played SWTOR or even logged into the game, so none of these purchases or in-game activities were made by me. As soon as I noticed this, I: - Changed my password. - Secured my email account. - Started gathering screenshots and purchase confirmation emails. I'm very concerned that my account was compromised and used for fraudulent activity involving someone else's payment methods. Could a Community Manager or Support representative please advise if there is anything else I should do before I can contact official support on Monday? I would also like to make sure my account is not penalized for actions performed by whoever accessed it. I'm happy to provide additional screenshots, invoice numbers, or any other information if needed. Thank you. Screenshots attached showing: - Multiple payment attempts in just a few minutes. - Several completed and failed purchases. - Immediate spending of the purchased Cartel Coins. - I have never logged into SWTOR or played the game.
