security key in SW:TOR
It’s been a while since I last logged into my SW:TOR account. Now, I can no longer remember my password or my security key. I downloaded Google Authenticator, but I can’t figure out how it works. Could someone please help me? I’ve already tried the "forgot password" option, but it’s asking for my security key again. J'ai téléchargé GOOGLE AUTHENTIFICOR mais impossible de comprendre son fonctionnement. Est-ce que quelqu'un pourrait m'aider sachant que j'ai déjà essayé "mot de passe oublié" et encore une fois on me demande ma clé de sécurité. Merci à vous.

Hello, I am trying to return to SWTOR after a long hiatus. I am able to log into the website just fine, but even after removing the security key, every time i try to launch the game, on either of my accounts, I get either "Login service is unavailable" error OR "The Display Name, Password, or Security Key you have entered is incorrect". I know for a fact that the display name and password are correct, because I am using it to log into the SWTOR website and can access my account just fine. Any suggestions?
Problems with standalone launcher and game itself, nothing loads
Hello! Since late Monday and early Tuesday I cannot log into the game since my launcher keeps closing on itself after 2 seconds of searching for updates. So far I've tried: turning off security software and adding SWTOR folder and all related .exe to exception folder, restarting the PC hundreds of times, installing DirectX 9 and other old libraries Redist recommended by other players. I do not use AdGuard, so the problem doesn't lie there either. By some miracle I've got the launcher to stick around for a whole game reinstall, but it did nothing too. All my drivers are up to date. On the SWTOR forums one person recommended to overwrite launcher.exe and launcher.swtor.json with updated files from Temp folder, which actually helped the launcher to stop closing. Now I can login, but the game itself doesn't launch, as nothing happens when I hit play button. Windows crash report says this: Star Wars - The Old Republic Launcher has stopped working Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: launcher.exe_Star Wars - The Old Republic Launcher Application Version: 7.2.207.0 Application Timestamp: 0x6ac2ac1b Fault Module Name: AcLayers.DLL Fault Module Version: 10.0.18362.449 Fault Module Timestamp: 0xd5a88fae Exception Code: 0xc0000005 Exception Offset: 0x000219a0 The same problem has happened to another friend of mine around the same time and no fix works for them as well. How do, Seen a bit of this online hereabouts but my experience may be different enough to make this why it's not working out for me. Been away for ages, thought I'd pop back in for a look since there's finally a Mac client. Better late than never, eh? But there's trouble as soon as I try to resubscribe. My account for SWTOR and EA share the same addy. Recently logged into both, all work. But there's no indication that my SWTOR knows about EA and vice versa. To quote someone well known in these here parts, would it help if I got out and pushed? The pathway to resolving this is a bit opaque. All I'm trying to do is pay for a sub. It's hard to figure why when both match, this false positive is pointed at as to why. Support that requires a paid sub - which can't be reactivated for unknowable reasons - a bit of a catch 22. Anyone here that can shed useful light that helps me resolve things, many thanks.Trouble subscribing
I'm returning to the game after a long break. I'm trying to subscribe again, but the website keeps saying it can't verify my card info. I have triple checked my entry, so I know it's correct. I have tried regular debit card, cashapp card, and paypal, all with the same result. I called the bank, and they said there is no issue that would prevent an online bill pay, so what gives?My launcher doesnt work since tuesday
Hello i play swtor since many years and everything was good but since tuesday my launcher is suddenly doesnt work, when I launch the launcher it loads for 10 seconds and then closes on its own, displaying the message "restarting"—but it never actually restarts. i’ve tried several things to fix the issue based on information I found online, but nothing has helped. I even deleted the game to try and reinstall it, but now I can’t even download it because the launcher keeps closing on its own. i don’t know what else to do to get it working again; do you have any solutions? thanks. 😭
C7 error
I don't understand why after playing so many months since my return and in fact in previous years i had no issue with this garbage that I'm suddenly getting this error. I already did a fresh install in case and i still get it. it's odd that it's happening on a tuesday(reset day). Coincidence? Anyways i'm frustrated by this big time.
multiple account issues
old time player here , havent logged since 2019 , the problems i am facing : can not change e-mail from swtor.com , the one time pass never arrives can not remove SK so i can install the google authenticator to my new phone i had to open my old phone to get access to my account is there any e-mail to get in contact or they have fired most of the support too and they work only by phone for this game ? any help is welcomed.can't receive the One-Time Password
I don't play the game in years, but I tried to log in and it says it can't recognize my device (for obvious reasons) but I never get the one time password sent by email. The email account is working fine. Plus I live in Brazil, it's really expensive to call to their physical number. :(Can't connect to any server
Getting the "a connection error has occurred" message when I try to connect to any server. I have: set my date and time to auto based on server flushed dns restarted allowed SWTOR through firewall disabled the firewall altogether The only thing that changed prior to the issue was a windows update. When I launched the game after it asked for the game to be let through the firewall. If that helps. Any help is appreciated thanks.
How to remove account(?)
I've literally never played the game nor have it, but i got a notification/email that says "A new reward for Subscribers + An Update Regarding Inactive Character Names". I wonder did someone make an account under my gmail or they just send random emails to anyone they find a gmail for? Anyone wanna help me figure out the situation on it? Thanks lol.
Login service is unavailable
I tried to login into my old account I received the following launcher error: "The login service is currently is unavailable. Details can be founf on our Twitter account." There were no details found on the X account. When trying to login into the web page I get the following error: "Authentication request could not be processed due to a system problem." Any ideas?Trying to get back my account
So after a couple of years of not playing the game, I wanted to get back only to find out that... That I forgot my password. So I tried to reset it, but here is where the real problem showed up... I need my security access code to reset the password, but the SW app is not working on my phone, so I have no idea how to set a new password. I cannot contact support through the game because I can't get inside the game. Is there anything I could do to get my account back?
[Steam] Login unavailable - Need fix
Hi, I already tried every step there was to solve this issue, the opnes that were in the guide here and the ones that the community tried and posted. Re: [INFO] Common Issues and Solutions | EA Forums - 10748197 -DNs is already flushed. -Tried installing the standalone launcher and the problem persist. Same with reinstalling the steam version several times. -Made sure to whitelist every executable from my antivirus (this is the first time ever i got this error). -Made sure the date and time settings from my Pc and 2fa app were the same. I'm not sure what else to do.SWTOR/EA Account Linking Error - Need Help from Brazil
Hello everyone, I'm trying to return to SWTOR after a long break, but I can't log in because the game asks me to verify my age. When I try to verify my age, I receive this error message: "There is an issue with your EA account that is preventing your request from completing." My EA account was apparently created automatically when I started playing SWTOR, long before 2019. When I check the account connection, it shows: "Link Status: Error." I've already tried changing my password, but that didn't solve the problem. I'm not sure whether I changed the password for the correct EA account, and I don't know how to find out which email address was originally linked to my SWTOR account. EA support has directed me to call +1 (855) 345-2186, but I live in Brazil and cannot call this US toll-free number. I haven't been able to find another way to contact customer support. Does anyone know how I can resolve this account linking error, identify the EA account linked to my SWTOR account, or contact support from Brazil? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
