Ultra Widescreen issue
Hello, I tried many workarounds like regedit and CRU, but I just can't seem to fix this stretched issue happening on my Samsung G9 Odyssey 49'. Sadly can't/won't play the game like this, would be nice for the game to not force strange resolutions onto the client. GPU: RTX4080SuperUnable to Log-in from Steam
I'm using PC. After launching the game from the Steam, I enter the display name and password from the website, but it says double-check you are using Steam account. I checked it. There is no steam link. I even transferred my e-mail to my second e-mail. Just to be sure I didn't use my second e-mail to login or create account before. The transfer went without problem, but I'm still unable to login with my account. How can I login from Steam?Locked out of my 10+ year old account due to Security key
I am trying to access my 10+ year old account and I cannot access it since I cannot remember my password or have my security key app so whenever I try to change the password it shows me Account security key, display name, or recovery code is invalid/expired. And when I try to call their support number it fails to dial and I cannot reach them, is there any known solution for this issue?Mac launcher not working after 7.8.1b update.
Times out checking for server updates. Launcher error code 987 - WebGet_Error_JSON. Have cleared and reinstalled launcher and still getting same error. Looks like it can't connect to a server or some JSON update file its looking for isn't there, etc. Other Mac clients reporting same under SWTOR forums. Posting this here.Updating payment issues
Hello EA community, Has anyone ever had problems updating their credit card on the SWTOR website or on here? I updated my card because my old one is gonna expire soon so I input a diff exp date with the same number, but I received an email from EA saying I updated the card but their system is still attempting to use my old, cached payment info and my bank hasn’t received a new authorization request and is blocking the transaction. I haven’t made any purchases AFTER after updating my card and according to my bank and EA, my last transaction went through successfully. My bank said there’s no issues on their end so idk what’s going on, anyone know? (see attachment below). Thank youSwtor Stutter / Fps drop
Hi everyone , I recently came back to swtor and have a weird issue. My game will run on constant 141 fps i can move the camera around 360 and it wont drop a single frame. I can mount up and run through the map and not get a fps drop then all of a sudden it drops to 137. It does it in combat aswell and the whole screen almost freezes when this happens for like a millisecond. I know if you ever open the ui it drops which is normal but this happens just in the open world or even in a bunker underground with not much to load. I Changed all the graphics down the low , disabled enhanced shadows , bloom everything. The game will do the same run constant on 141 then sudden drop to 137 and it just feels terrible. I also tried to set the fps to cap at 60 it does the exact same it just drops to 56-58 but has that millisecond freeze aswell. I tried disabling gsync , vsync , both together , vsync fast in nvidia panel. Triple buffering on and off. Is this normal i read that the engine is old and not optimized , does anyone have similar issues ? I have 0 issues in other newer titles and even older titles. My temps run a average of 45 and peaks at 60 maximum. My specs are Ram: Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 64 GB 6000 CL30 Motherboard: ASUS PRIME X870-P WiFi Graphics Card: Geforce 4080 16g Monitor: Predator xb273 gx CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D Windows 11
Getting DISCONNECTED from SWTOR!!!!
It would be nice to see someone at EA to FIX an ongoing issue with players constantly getting disconnected from SWTOR. I have checked my internet speeds and everything is 1 Gig. So that means it's on EA end. PLUS as I can see I'm not the only player having this issue.CANT LOG IN
I have been having this issue so long i log into the game launcher it sends me an email verification code i put it in then nothing. I have not been able to get into the game for a long while please help. its not the firewall or any of that i have tried all the youtube and forum fixes. i just cant figure it out.Both US Servers down, but Server Status page shows active
Both US servers are now down, but both status pages (Server Status and System Alerts) shows that everything is perfectly fine. Are https://www.swtor.com/server-status and https://www.swtor.com/systemalerts reflecting reality, or they're useless now as support migrated to EA?
