Cannot summon companion

Hello,

I am relatively new to the SWTOR and unfortunately, I already encountered a bigger problem. Today I realised that my companion Khem Val is missing. I am still on Dromund Kaas and don't have any other companion. But few minutes ago, I realised that the same thing happened also to my Jedi Knight and Consular characters. Their companions are not anywhere.

To sum it up:

- I don't see their quickbar.

- When I open my character tab, I cannot "switch" to my companion view (the button is completely missing)

- When I press N, I can see my companion and have two options. I can change his specialisation (heal, tank etc.) or click "dismiss". But when I click dismiss, I just got a message in my chat ("companion dismissed" or something like that) but nothing happens and in N tab I can again either choose specialisation or click dismiss.

- When in conversation (at least for my inquisitor, didn't try that with Jedi yet) when my companion has anything to say, I can hear him, but he is "invisible" or the screen "jumps" to some "background" (for example I was shown Dromund Kaas background mountains.

- I can normally send them on crew skills missions.

Things I tried:

- relog

- hard relog

- fast travel and taxi

I really don't know what to do with it and it's really bad. I cannot even try to summon another companion since I still haven't any other.

    All right so I contacted them as you suggested but still nothing. Guess that since I am not subscriber, they are not in some big rush with answer but I understand it :/

    BUT... Today I logged with my Consular and wanted to summon droid from ship... And I noticed I can also summon Qyzen!!! So I summoned him and he is in game! 🙂 I tried to log to my Inquisitor and now he can also summon his first companion 🙂 So it's great that it's working again, despite the fact that I have no idea what happened. Since the time I noticed I cannot summon them I haven't played any FP, any Warzone or Starfighters, just a story and few heroic missions... 

    Anyway, thanks a lot for your answers people, I appreciate it 🙂

    Unfortunately this is a known issue going on where companions disappear either going to a warzone and then back or strong hold.  As of right now there is no ETA on when this will be fixed.  The only work around is to use another companion to summon them then resummon the one that was disappeared.

    Since you only have one companion, you would either need to go to the cartel market / gtn to get another companion or continue the story of the character until another one is available to use.

    If any other updates on this issue appear I'll update this post but as of right now those are the work arounds and no ETA on a fix.

    Oh, that's too bad. Anyway, thanks for answer, at least I know what's going on and what could I do.

    Ok, thanks. This probably won't change anything but I have some updated info about this problem. I finally got my ship for inquisitor and with it my second companion, that droid. I can summon the droid, dismiss him, send him on mission and everything. But I am still not able to summon Khem Val, it's still the same (only dismiss option and nothing happening). But I am able to see him on my ship and even talk to him, so it's really strange :D

    Anyway, still haven't any progress on my Jedi Knight or Jedi Consular and their companions are still missing too :/

    Submit an email to support@swtor.com 

    Provide swtor username , server , affected characters and which companions are missing

    And feel free to provide a link to this thread, they should restore the companion for you.
