Same, and when I searched, I found countless others.
My situation is a little different: I already HAD a RECURRING subscription, and was surprised after launching that I suddenly was preferred instead of subbed. When I checked the site and just wanted to see my payment history, I got that same message.
Really annoying that as a SUBSCRIBER, I can't use the in-game support! (Since the problem is that the subscription is not recognised.)
the scale of how badly this glitch is going on is just ridiculous, shows just how much EA actually cares about their players

you will need to call swtor support on monday , they can assist resolving the account issue you have

wow some grade A customer service you've got there. hundreds of people having the same issue with no way to fix it without having to call and you say thats not a glitch?
why dont you just open tickets up for non subscribers? since theres no way to actually subscribe there can't be that many to deal with otherwise

I hear you. Especially infuriating when you are a subscriber, but can't use the in-game support ticket system, because the very nature of the problem is that the subscription is not recognised / extension failed.
They need to do something about this. E. g. keep support available for about a week AFTER "quitting", possibly limited to tickets regarding account and subscription status.
