If I buy an item on the cartel market, for example a decoration for my fortress, will it be bound forever, for three days like the items you get in packs, or not at all ?
Only Star Fortress decorations that come from the Skytrooper Praetorian on the production level are bound. That is a long term bug unfortunately.
EA StaffEvery item from the Cartel Market is bound for 3 days even if they don't come from a pack, and most of them will be unbound after that time. Some of them will be permanently bound however, it depends on the item.

It just occurred to me that the french words for our strongholds and the star fortresses could very different than the english versions. Just to clarify, when I say star fortress, I mean the Zakuul themed flashpoint.
If you just mean the buildings that we can buy for our characters, then yes the cartel pack items will be bound for a short time but that will run out. Most of the decorations that you get as item drops while playing the game aren't bound, with the exception of the Skytrooper Praetorian's decorations. Also I believe that the decorations that come from achievements are bound.
