Customer Support lines busy?

Question

Hi, I'm trying to return to Star Wars the old republic after an extended break, but upon trying to redeem a 90day game time card I got the message:

"The EA Billing and Management services cannot be accessed at this time Please try again later."

I tried calling American customer support line, but the line has been giving me the busy tone for the last hour or so. Is the line open on the weekends? Is there a different number I can call to resolve the issue? Am I just out 45$? Any help would be appreciated.

I have seen a few reports regarding busy for the support line, I suspect that it may be having issues.

The error you have normally indicates an issue with either the swtor account or the linked EA/Origin account.
Will try and flag the phone issue, but that doesn't help you at present.
