Dromund Kaas issue

I'm having a very frustrating problem on my server(Jedi Covenant)  with both characters. I got my first one, my main, to dromund kaas and the first issue was that my map went completely blank the second i moved and there weren't any symbols for my quests or otherwise leaving me very lost for quite a while until i eventually found my way out of the spaceport. The second i left the spaceport, my computer froze and the game closed. It also changed my screen resolution. I tried again, logged back on with success and clicked play on the same character. It began loading, almost finished, then the game closed once more and once again affected my screen resolution. I tried multiple times with the same result, and tried making a new character to see if it was just that character. The new character worked flawlessly until i got to dromund kaas, and the same problem occured and now i can't play on either of them. I'm not sure if anyone else is encountering this issue, and I apologize if this question had already been answered. No, I am not a suscriber. So, please, if anyone has any solutions or suggestions i'd love to hear c:
