Game immediately crashes after launch, post 7.51

I can log in to the launcher, enter all the relevant information, hear the 'game is ready' sound, hit play. In the black screen before the actual loading screen pops up, the game crashes. 100% reproducible, haven't been able to play at all since Sunday at the latest. There's already a bug report on it, but it hasn't even been replied to a single time and may even be locked, I don't see a reply option.

    @Vraynar 

    if its a new install that file is only created on the first game launch , so if that install has never successfully launched there will be no file

    I'm using MSI, that option does not exist in the BIOS as far as I've found. No one seems to explain what the equivalent is or even if there's an equivalent at all.

    The BIOS update for MSI did fix it. Apparently, the whole BIOS update thing just came at a very unfortunate time. Thank you for your time!

    I also have this issue, I've tried fresh installs both on Steam and from standalone launcher, followed that guide with the client_settings file, even did a clean boot and issue persisted. No updates pending, not overclocked
