Sadly for those still mid way through, this was a quest that was reset with 4.0 as described in the patch notes.

And there is nothing I can to do?

I had a similar thing happen to me.  I had all but one of the pieces.  The patch wiped away my items, and worse, I've gone through operations to try and get them back, and they aren't there.  I've submitted two tickets, and this was the response I got.

• Walking out of the Phased Zone via the Portal Entrance (Green Gate)
• Reset the Phase by right clicking on your portrait and selecting reset phase /reset local phase.
• Using your Quick Travel ability to a Bind Point.
• Using your Emergency Fleet Pass.

It sucks, because I can't even finish the quest right now.
