How to run SWTOR on Steam

How can I make myself appear as "Playing SWTOR" on steam?
I added swtor to my games list, then it appears that im playing swtor for a few seconds but then it switches, and shows me as not playing any game :?

You need to run both Steam and SWTOR "as an administrator" to get the in-game overlay to hook and stay. If you don't know how to do it, just Google "how to run a program as an administrator?" and you will find the answer.

Most likely the problem is that you've linked the Launcher in Steam and when that switches off to the game Steam sees Launcher closed and assumes your not playing. Best bet is to search steam forums for a answer since it their problem.
