If I buy armors from the cartel market place, is it per character or account?
There are a few that I like the look of, if I purchase, will it unlock the skins for every character on my account, or just the one I purchased it on?

It's per character (you need to fully equip the armor set first). To unlock it for the account you need to do an extra step. Unlock it via "collections" (menu bar on top of in game UI screen). edit: costs additional cartel coins
