Take the system to a clean boot per here see if it behaves
do remember to return to normal boot afterwards
Clean boot done, nothing changed. Both files still do nothing when run.

Very odd , is C++ and .net fully up to date via windows updates ?
create a folder on C drive somewhere and then extract this repair utility into it , can you launch the game using launcher.exe that way ?
ensure launcher.exe and swtor.exe (if this helps) is in all exception lists as well

Created C:\SWTOR, downloaded and extracted, and yes, Launcher.exe works from there.
All the other stuff is up to date and, firewall permissions etc are all checked.

GREAT! This should be marked more or highlighted, that repair tool helps with installer crashes!
Was looking solution for a few hours! Tnx a lot Now game is patching itself (downloading all game content!)
