Moving forward could I suggest that when it comes to days either side of a Patch that you pull up this link a few minutes before you decide to play... it will save you a lot of time and effort.

*This way you would have been aware that there was  a whoops moment with last nights patch.. sadly not just once, but it's all fixed now... has been for the last 6 hours I think, and even then it only effected non streaming client users, which by the sounds of it you are.

There are a few things folks can do to minimize the issues that they have surrounding patches and what not, the big one is to relax and breath, and to understand that not everything is a game companies fault.. in this case we blame Tait 🙂.

I knew about the problems, but i heard this is all fixed now, which it isnt for me...

Just to confirm you don't use SWTOR unleashed and haven't gone to retail ( have to check )

I don't use SWTOR unleashed, and after I heard what deleting the folder do, I stoped the download and placed the folder back, If I remmeber correctly it downloaded something else for a couple of mins, the game worked, I tried logging my commando, stuck loading, quited, and now its downloading English Assest 1 again, I did NOT do anything, just logged the commando, quited, and logged in again.

And this is occurring in 2 computers correct ?

It maybe a case of a caching issue , if identical on 2 computers it makes it less likely to be local

But just in case have you tried this repair utility ? just check the launcher.settings file doesn't change over to Bitraider after before launching

The luncher setting shows bitraider_disable: true which is good, but I don't know what about "bitraider_download_complete":

^ what does it mean? and it created a bitraider folder now, which I think wasn;t there before.

and yes, it happens on 2 computers.

Ensure this line reads as , "PatchingMode": "{ \"swtor\": \"SSN\" }"

and you will definitely be on non streaming, if it is happening on 2 computers , there is likely 2 ways forward as likely not a local issue.

one is to wait another 24 hours and see if it self resolves (may be best for now to give it the benefit of the doubt)

two is to try a VPN and set it to say the US and see if it patches correctly , if it does patch ok and when you turn it off it goes back to painful , wait 24 hours

A free VPN for example is www.hotspotshield.com , expect some advertising its why its free , if it doesn't help or finished with it simply uninstall it.

Ok now I'm frustrated, the downloading stopped while I wasn't home apperantly since an intenet crash in my home, (network connection please try again later).

so I restarted the luncher, and now it's downloading english video 1... just tell me why.

2 computers are downloading this thing over and over again...

Ok here is my thing, I completed the download and the messege of the 'version doesnt match' came again. I ignored it and played a bit, but now, after closing the game, When I relunch the game I get "unable to retview patch data. please check network connection (208) even tho my netwrok is just fine. I close the luncher, relunch and it starts to download things all over again.

That's hell out of annoying, I need it fixed as soon as possible...
