EA QV Team@Vanaheimur I can't speak for Steam, but our system has to follow whatever rules and international commerce laws apply to us, and there are some things we can't change because of this.
So, in the end the payment method you're trying to use is not supported, but you might still be able to use one of the other payment methods available: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-payments-by-country/
But that's the problem! They're not following the rules and laws. The law (here in Brazil) says that if we buy in a foreign site we must buy in the foreign currency and that applies to ALL payment methods (except Paypal, but I do not have one and won't have the trouble to make one). So yes, EA's team need to change that, because it is wrong.
