delete and reinstall should only ever be done as a last resort as that is an extreme that doesn't always resolve an issue.

With that said, what is the issue you are currently experiencing?  Please provide any specific details.

Ok I attempt to login put in my password. I get the patching page and the instal line across the bottom of page goes from 0 to 100% quickly and just sits there nothing past that.

To prevent that issue which is a bitraider issue and the default configuration on a new install, you can remove bit raider as per this link here
