not sure what you mean exactly however once logged in use the alt + enter keys to swap modes to fullscreen (window) and back and see if it persists

This could be a temporary solution. Thanks! When the game is windowed there is no lag. However, when I switch to fullscreen the problem is back...
What video card ? eg if nvidia in the nvidia game profile for swtor set vsync to fast if so
or just turn vsync off
