Re: Swtor stuck on loading screen

Hello,

I have been facing a problem in my main character in SWTOR, it has been stuck on the loading screen even if I disconnect and log back into the game it never fnish the load bar it keeps retrying, I waited for it for about 3 hours and it didn't finish the load.

However, for the other characters in the server I can log in normally, except if I try to log in right after I disconnect from the stuck character (my main), if I do so the launcher will just stop running without showing any error, I assume this is because the server notice that I am logged in with 2 characters.

The last thing I did when I was playing the stuck character, I was on my stronghold on Coruscant, I was queued for Starfighter PvP matches, and I clicked on "Go Back to Space" when I wanted to leave my stronghold, that is when the character got stuck.

It never happened to me before, and I couldn't find solution on the forums.

I was wondering if you know what I should do, I would be really grateful. this character is my main. and I am investing everything on it.

you can try a repair just to be sure its not file related

Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner.
If this is NOT present, With the new launcher after login , select the username pulldown on the top right and select settings, then press repair.

Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut,
select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. Then start the launcher

otherwise If a subscriber you will need to submit a ingame ticket and request that character be moved to fleet

if not a subscriber send an email to support@swtor.com and request the character be moved to fleet due to unable to login after logout in a stronghold

Provide username/server character and can also provide them a link to this thread , hopefully they will sort this for you.

In one of my attempts to fix this, after waiting for about 15mins I switched the wireless off for 5 sec and immediately switched it on. it showed me the screen below. I can confirm that the map in my attached image is my guild stronghold, which was the last place I have been through before I went to my stronghold on Coruscant, and clicked the "Go Back to Space" choice on the elevator terminal.

I am so glad you responded so soon, thank you 🙂

My launcher already had the letters ST, I did what you suggested and removed the bitRaider folder, and re-run the Launcher, the launcher installed some things and then I logged in to the game and to the character, unfortunately nothing changed, still the same problem for the same character.

I have already sent an email to [edit: email address removed] before I read your response, I included my server name my character name and some details about the character, I didn't mention my username though. I don't want to send them another one as I heard this will delay my email in the queue. Having them replied and ask some questions, I will send them a link to this thread for sure, I hope they will not require me to submit an in-game ticket. I am not planning to re-sub soon.

Thanks again, I will keep you updated of what will happen with me, and may the force be with you
