if you know the username and password and leave the key blank , providing there is no other account issue the you get the below screen
although if you dont have the password correct and you get login failed you will need to call support to remove the key
There is no reason to access your account , if you login with just username and password and leave the key blank it should give you the screen i posted previously, you click the lost security key link and it sends an OTP to confirm the removal.
all this is detailed in the removal steps in the FAQ http://help.ea.com/en/article/swtor-security-key-faqs/ and needs to be done in a web browser not the launcher

That doesnt happen. Youre clearly wrong
just tested it and it works for me , like i said if you have issues call support and they can remove the manually
Well i can show you atleast two people it isnt working for AND THEY ARNT PICKING UP THE PHONES
you need to call during the listed hours, by my timezone calculations UK for example are up in around 3 hours time

It was 200% not working for me, I clicked that button and it took me to a page explaining that we had to go to this forum for help. That was how I found this forum in the first place. But I went back and tried it just now and it did give me a one time password. @Avalantian maybe give it another try and it will magically start working. I'm unsure why it wasn't working before but it seems to be now for me at least. Maybe check your adblockers, tho I haven't changed anything with mine to get it to work. I wasn't going to bother calling because I didn't care about playing this game again that much but it's nice that it's magically working.
