"Server not responding" SWTOR launcher

Hi! I had a freezing problem after i clicked "play" on SWTOR launcher. It took something like 2-3 minutes to get on loading screen and then game froze. First i tried removing a bitraider folder but ...

    I just noticed from your screenshot that you are using the old launcher design, that's probably what's causing the problem. Please use the current Launcher Repair Utility to get to the newest version: Here  ( Mod edit to go to directions for repair utility )

    Once you have run this program, it will delete your launcher settings and put you on BitRaider, so make sure to edit the launcher.settings file back, instructions are here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/STAR-WARS-The-Old-Republic/Guide-How-to-Switch-to-Non-Streaming-Launcher/td-p/4867417

Is there a way to update to the new launcher without doing anything with bitraider? Bitraider is why I uninstalled and reinstalled from the discs in the first place.

Use the repair utility but ensure the launcher stays at bitraider disable and set to SSN after you use it

see the guide here how to ensure it remains SSN , obviously the only folder to delete if it exists is bitraider given you are set to no bitraider at present.
