Why are there no SWTOR Avatars in the settings?
You could at least include the SWTOR, Republic and Empire logos.

That is a great idea, we do actually already plan on introducing some SWTOR themed avatars, but they are still in the workshop at this time. Our goal has been to get the new forums up and running prior to the expansion.
Now that we are set up, we can look at tweaking things.
We'll keep you posted,

Double check that you can't. You might need to be an 'apprentice' to do custom avatars, but there should be an option to "Upload Avatar." There is for me.

@absolutgrndzer0 is correct, users now have the option to upload a custom avatar, given that their rank is high enough (5 start novice or higher).
