swtor client unable to retrieve patch data 208

Hi there, Just come back after a long while away to get this error on launch. Tried the 'fixes' i have read about, deleting patch files, changing compatability to W8, run as admin, all no good..  W...

    @proxos666 Hi there Owen, Thanks for the reply. I must admit I didnt really understand the first part. It was not the firewall, I ended up deinstalling an reinstalling from the direct download, and it worked, so this could be flagged as a possible solution if others have the issue.

208 is a communication issue , host.developer.log at C:\Users\User\AppData\LocalLow\BioWare\Star Wars - The Old Republic Launcher

Should give you an indication of what it cant communicate with

If not a net routing issue, then antivirus and firewall could be blocking talking to the external servers
